SETI public: Some plans to save Arecibo

The Arecibo Radio Observatory has been threatened since 2006 with
budget cuts that could eventually cause the facility to close down.

Recently, two events occured that just might save Arecibo from oblivion,
including an effort by a certain New York Senator who also happens to
be making a bid at the Presidency.
