For my Wiltron 560A network analyzer (0-18GHz detectors and auto-swr bridge)
I've just aquired a Wavetek 2001 sweep generator which upper frequency is 1400MHz
which is a bummer for my purposes in argus, yeah I know but the price was right :-)
I've also got a HP 8647A 1GHz signalgenerator which is quite sharp.
Are there any decently linear freq.doublers to build?
That would increase the utilization area of these instruments tremendously.
I'm also interested in gpib software for the Wiltron 560A , the only feature I really need
is a hardcopy function to grab the screen plot to a pc for printing (to pdf),
AppWave's TestWave and Aphena's SoftPlot looks nice but cost alot.
I also don't have a programming manual for the wiltron so getting someone so
write the software could prove difficult.
