I have been struggling to decide how to build a Remote SETI Client and server. It is becoming clear now. I'm going to use XML-RPC as the transport mechanism. If you would like to keep up with the development check out:

The next step will be to build a client that can read and display the current antenna position. After that the receiver settings. Then to set the Antenna and Receiver to where you want them. And finally to stream the audio to the client.
If there is anyone up to building a client of their own (say under Linux or in Visual Basic) I would love to work with you.
