Subject: [HASTRO-L] communicating with aliens
Dear list,
A colleague is looking for examples of nineteenth-century science
fiction writers from Britain, France and Germany who were interested in
communicating with aliens? Do you have any ideas? I have already
suggested Michael J. Crowe's book on the Extraterrestrial Life Debate.
Any other leads would be really helpful. I recently wrote a Ph.D. on
nineteenth-century literature and astronomy in Britain, but I was
focusing on literature aside from science fiction.
All best,
