    The characteristics of the SERENDIP receivers and the Arecibo
    dish are very different from a typical Argus station in terms of
    beam width and frequency stability. That means that the SETI_at_Home
    software is very poorly matched.

    It is also not intended to do real time analysis, whereas Argus
    only really makes sense if detection is near real time.
