    ET where are you?

    We promise. . .

No alien BEM's (Bug Eyed Monsters) . . .No abductions. . . No autopsies

    We promise . . .

An outstanding gathering of SETI experts and research scientists<http://planetary.org/setisymposium2004.html#speakers>. Included among the speakers will be Paul Horowitz, who has headed the longest, continuous, SETI search; Dan Werthimer, one of the SETI_at_home founders (this group convinced 5 million computer users to help them sift through data looking for an anomalous signal;) Geoff Marcy, extrasolar planet discoverer extraordinaire; and astrobiologist Woody Sullivan, who wonders why ET has to be intelligent.

Lots of questions will be asked:
a.. What have we discovered/not discovered so far?
b.. Where do we go from here?
c.. How do we go about it?

For answers - attend the symposium. Ask questions. Meet the experts.
      Date:August 7, 2004
      Time: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Cost: $85.00 general admission, *$75.00 Planetary Society Members and SETI_at_home volunteers, and $65.00 for students
