I can't speak for Lawton, who I never met, but if there had been a
Bracewell probe discovered at a LaGrange point, its existence would have
been easy to verify by numerous observers, and widely publicized. No
such documentation exists. Even if it did, there is ABSOLUTELY no way
to know where in our vast Galaxy a robotic probe originated, unless it
chose to communicate with us. I can only assume that Lawton was somehow
personally singled out for that historic communication!
