    SETIzens,
SearchLites Vol. 10, number 4 is now available on the Members Only
section of The SETI League website, via
    <http://www.setileague.org/members/document/srchlite.pdf>. To access
this document, you will need the user name and password that Heather
sent you when she processed your 2004 membership renewal. (If you don't
have this information, it probably means you didn't pay your 2004 dues!
Check your membership certificate, to see if you have a 2004 renewal
sticker in the lower right-hand corner. If not, it's never too late to
    send in your renewal.)
As mentioned in the newsletter itself, this copy will be sent out in
the post (probably in about a week), but it will be the last printed
issue of SearchLites you receive. It was decided at our Annual Meeting
two weeks ago to go to all-electronic delivery, starting with the Winter
2005 issue. So, just for practice, you should try now to access
SearchLites online, to make sure you have the required technology. We
want to make sure you will never miss a future issue (as long as you
remain a member in good standing).
Thank you all for your understanding of this cost-saving measure,
necessitated by escalating printing and postage costs. As your Editor,
I promise you we will never compromise content, even though you will
soon have to provide your own paper and ink!
            Yours for SETI success,
                    Paul
