    attached mail follows:

    Hi everyone
some months have passed since our very first EUropean SETI Congress in
Heppenheim Germany and good results have forced me into writing this
letter . Paul Shuch went to great time and expence in organizing the very
first EUROSETI con at the beginning of this year and a small group attended
which was a pity because what actualy took place on this weekend was
staggering to say the least , since January I have been involved in proccessing
the matters that came up at this congress which are too many to be placed in
such a small e-mail , fact is however that after this Congress a shock wave
has gone around Europe at different Observatories in a Very positive nature
to the needs of SETI Research now and in the future , A few individuals such
as Prof Claudio Maconi from the University of Turin are now going out
themselves targeted at achieving very special goals such as in this case using
the Massive Big ear Design Radio Telescope at Nancey France for SETI .

This very first EUROSETI Conference was a major event as it seems to have
been the birth place of a whole range of new activities for the very first
time here in Europe to find ET , I think I am right in saying that in the US
all the buttons have been pressed that are thair to be pressed to do SETI
and that a whole new batch here in Europe are waiting to be pressed and now
is the time to start, also most important of all here in Europe a new
interest in SETI is being kindeled that is "Together with the efforts in the
US not to mention" going to lead us to a new horizon in SETI Research.

One very important thing not to forget also was the attendance of Ruschian
scientists at the very first EUROSETI con from the Achadamy of Science in
Moscow who have been sending out so called Cosmic Messages using the
Interplanetary Radar EVAP on the island of the Krim for a very long time , we in the
west are buggering around doing passive SETI and our dear freinds in
Russia have been doing active seti now for years .

I would like firstly to thank Paul Shuch and the SETI League for making
this very first meeting possible but secondly more importantly I would like
here to Quite clearly state that the fact that not so many attended was a
    very big mistake indeed !
the next Euroseti con is planned for September 2006 which is a long time
up to this date you all will have to place this very important date in your
appointment books as allot is at stake at this meeting , it is the chance
to make massive leaps forward or not, this all depends on you to use the
time till 2006 correctly. A whole new and wonderfull future of European
Cooperation in SETI is waiting at our fingertips my only request I have of you
on reading this is """""" Do Something """"""""" 2006 will be the time to
report on your results and coordinate whats come about.

I seriously recomend that any ideas you may have regardless of how wild
they are should be reported to paul so that he may do some thinking and
    coordination .

We Europeans need also one major thing "Manpower" and this could mean
you, If Paul knows who is willing to do what or who can arrange what he will
be able to put people together for the first time here in Europe .

Thats about it , he who came to the very first EURO SETO Con will know why
I am writing this letter , he who did not will now hopefully realise that
something wonderfull is in the bush worth working for .
    Yours Peter WRight
ERAC President , VOLCOR and G Bruno award winner
    BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
