    SETIzens,
Eight years ago today I started a sabbatical leave from the Pennsylvania
College of Technology, to take the helm of The SETI League for just one
year. I certainly never expected to stay with The SETI League this
long. In fact, I never really expected The SETI League to survive this
long! Thanks to all of you for making these past eight years so exciting
and personally fulfilling. You have been my best students ever, and have
    made your teacher proud.
            Yours for SETI Success,
                    Paul
