SETIzens,
Finally, someone has put it all together for a reasonable price! Dave
Clingerman, W6OAL (Olde Antenna Labs of Denver) has announced a complete
SETI LNBF (helix feed, low noise preamp, and hydrogen line downconverter,
assembled and tested, in a weatherproof radome with mounting strap) for
under $400 US. Just add your own dish, computer, and 2-meter SSB ham
receiver, and you're on the air. Details at
<http://www.setileague.org/hardware/oldeant.htm>.
Prospective Argonauts, you no longer have an excuse for not being on the air.
Thanks, Dave!
