SETIzens,
If you are planning to attend SETICon02, now just over a month away, you
should be aware that TODAY is the deadline for registering with the
official conference hotel, to receive the discount rate. If you haven't
already done so, PLEASE call the Hampton Inn and Suites, Newtown at +1
(215) 860-1700, right away. There are still a few rooms available. Tell
the clerk that answers that you are reserving for the SETI Conference.
For those of you wishing to take advantage of the SETICon02
pre-registration discount, we need a registration form ASAP, either
submitted via post, or using the online form at
<http://www.setileague.org/seticon/regist02.htm>. Please note that the
preregistration deadline is JUST ONE WEEK AWAY. After that, you will have
to register at the door, for an additional $10. Also, if you are planning
to attend our Second Annual Awards Banquet, the only way to ensure yourself
a ticket is to reserve it along with your pre-registration. Please act
quickly; I'd hate to have to turn any of you away.
