	From these forwarded posts, it appears the correspondents are not familiar
with The SETI League.  We are an educational and scientific non-profit with
*no* commercial mission (tax law prohibits it!) and are engaged in both
receiving and transmitting projects (within the limits of international
policy), both optical and microwave.  We are also very much in need of
financial support, although we won't get it by sinking to the depths some
of these commercial ventures do.  See

	Since I am not a member of the list from which these messages were
forwarded, would you be so kind as to forward my comments on to the
