A Meeting with the Universe: Science Discoveries from the Space
Program (NASA SP-177, 1981) is now on-line at
http://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/pao/History/EP-177/cover.html on the Web.
Written by a group of NASA scientists for a popular audience, this
attractive photo book is not a formal NASA history, but a "history of
space exploration--by NASA, by universities, by other government
agencies, and by industries--all of whom have played major roles." Warm
thanks to Hans-Peter Engel, who scanned and formatted this special book
for the Web.
