Now Dr. SETI chimes in:
Gentlemen, this is counter-productive. What is important is not whether
our predictions for the future are right or wrong, but how best to employ
present technology in the SETI enterprise. I suggest that the future will
take care of itself, one way or the other.
And BTW, subject line notwithstanding, radio is not the last word. Email
is. Now let's dispense with this nonsense, please, and (as Chip says) go
to work.
