Not only perigee and perihelion, but also Winter Solstice and full moon!
Viewed from Earth, this will be the brightest moon in 133 years.  From the
northern parts of the northern hemisphere, if there's snow on the ground it
will appear almost as bright as daytime.  Enjoy the moonlight.
