What we are doing is mapping the sky. You don't have to "wiggle" the dish,
since we live on a rotating planet. The earth moves it for us! If you
look at the first image in "What We've Heard So Far"
<http://www.setileague.org/photos/hits.htm> you will see a 3-dimensional
image. Frequency on one axis, right ascention on the other (changed for us
by the earth's rotation), and amplitude of the signal shown as colors.
