Hello,

I have just found out about this group and I hadn't any idea this was
going on an individual level. Very exciting but I think my wife will
die when I start into this new hobby. The reason that I found this
group is I am looking for an individual that has built, knows how to
build or has any information on radar systems. (cheap) I've been
thinking that a transponder type radar might be the easiest. What I am
doing is launching a rocket to appox. 150 miles and I need to verify
alt.. I have a couple of systems (video/gps) onboard but it is
questionable if these will really work(high G forces, cold, heat, alt.,
etc.) so a gound based system would be great. If anybody has any other
ideas on ground based systems that can be used feel free to share.

thanks
