The October issue of National Geographic Magazine has an article
on the "deserts" of Antarctica and how even these harsh, barren
regions have lots of life forms. Can this also apply to Mars, Europa,
Titan, and other places in our solar system?
By ironic contrast, the cover story is on the human population
explosion, where our species' 5.9 billion members cover the planet
Earth, with no slowdown in sight for at least another few generations.
