SETI Argus station

How hard is it to make an Argus station? I am not that great with mine
hands. This would be the biggest project I have ever undertaken. The
last thing I put together was a simple LED light for regular astronomy
use. If I can afford when I get a job I'll be my uncles could help out
because they're real good at that stuff.

Also, could anyone give any tips for keeping the cost low. I'll be luck
if I have it ready by next summer. If I don't finish it by fall of '99,
I might just wait till after college to try something like this.

In the meantime, I will be trying to get used to working with my hands on
simpler projects. At my high school there is a club called the science
league where different schools get to compete. Even though little if any
of it requires anything electrical, at least I'll be getting practice
with my hands.

"The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday
thinking."
