Ah, but once we have the rf end of the system worked out (and we're getting
close!) our bandpass and pattern recognition capabilities can only improve
with time. Our systems are evolutionary. If inadequate today (and yes, we
admit the possibility), we hope they will be that much more powerful tomorrow.

I did not take your comments as criticism of The SETI League, Chip, but in
case some of our members did, thanks for clarifying. Your support and
constructive criticism are always welcome. In fact (shameless plug), we'd
all be delighted to welcome you as a new SETI League member.
