I believe the main problem is with the type of shingles. Some types will
readily pass signals while other shingles will not. Although I have not
tried it (because I do not have a GPS receiver) is to take a GPS receiver
up into your attic. If you can "see" at least 3 (I think) GPS satellites,
you can install your dish in the attic. Lee.
