Prime numbers are often used to code signals, and didn't this use a grid
from the product of 2 small prime numbers. Should not be a problem.
Just a lack of funding, no more.

If you don't have your computer working at night, it can be used to look
for large prime numbers as part of the distributed computing project
at http://www.mersenne.org, the success of projects like this may have
helped encourage other projects like the upcoming seti@home.
