Looking over this whole thing I feel I should comment.

We were involved in a game with the hoaxster. We make a move, the
hoaxster makes a move. We were at a disadvantage in that we did not know
the hoaxster's game. I suspect that the hoaxster has played this game
before. Remember "SETI pulses"? There are people who make a business of
stirring up fake contraversy(sp?). They have no interest in getting to
the truth of the matter since they would be out of business.
