    NASA News list had the below post about NASA History.
    The web links given have some nice presentations that might interest the
    student in your your life to think about a career in going to space.

    The multimedia flash presentation showing 45 years in 45 clips. It is
    18 minutes long. Lot of memories. Now to make some new ones.

    The NASA History link will take you to their new One Portal graphical
    look that might catch the eye. The histories I have often pointed to
    are there. Just touch the Topical Index button. There is also a Site
