First Light Newsletter - July 2004

    Welcome to Ring World!

The Cassini-Huygens spacecraft successfully arrived at Saturn this week, becoming the first spacecraft to orbit the ringed world. Even after its roughly 2-billion-mile journey, there was no rest for the sturdy craft. Cassini is already sending back breathtaking images of the planet's rings and data that scientists will use to learn more about the planet, its rings and atmosphere.

Follow the mission as it captures never-before-seen views of this gem of the solar system.
