    Hello Everyone,

I am going to resume my regular posting of news items related to
    Bioastronomy and SETI.

This is not out of either disrespect or disregard for the Space Shuttle
Columbia STS-107 astronauts, their families, friends, and co-workers.
If anything it is to honor them and what they have sacrificed for:
The pursuit of knowledge and understanding. The goal and results of
this pursuit must not be stopped, as they are too valuable for the
    future of the human species.

As has been said many times already, I cannot believe the astronauts
would want all their hard work to be in vain. The STS-107 was even
working on a project aboard Columbia related to Panspermia.

The ultimate goal of humanity is to find life elsewhere in the Universe.
I know we will have much to learn from it.

    Larry
