Subject: Spacetoday.net update about today's shuttle tragedy
This is just a brief message on this tragic day to remind you that we
are providing continuing coverage of the loss of the space shuttle
Columbia on spacetoday.net. We have added links to at least 200
articles published online today about the tragedy, from major
newspapers, networks, and web sites down to local papers in Texas, as
well as coverage from outside the US, including Israel. We've also
written news summaries distilling the torrent of news into a few brief
paragraphs that cover the basic situation. We will continue to update
the site with the latest news about these terrible events. We welcome
any comments, questions, or suggestions about our coverage; simply email
me at jeff@spacetoday.net.
Our prayers go out this day to the families of the crews of STS-107, as
well as everyone else involved with the mission. We echo the words of
President Bush today, who reminded us in the depths of this tragedy that
"our journey into space will go on."
Sincerely,
Jeff Foust
