Italy’s Mt. Etna is the focus of this 3-D perspective view made from data collected by NASA spacecraft. The image is looking south with dark lava flows from the 1600s to 1981 visible in the foreground and the summit of Etna above.

Italy's Aeolian Islands and Mt. Etna are the focus of this 3-D perspective view made from NASA satellite data. The image is looking south with the islands of Lipari and Vulcano in the foreground and Etna with its dark lava flows on the skyline.
