The National Research Council's "Planetary Community Decadal Study" -- in
which it will come up with a new recommended design for the Solar System
exploration program from 2003 through 2013 -- now has its own Website,
complete with extensive areas for discussions between scientists and for the
storage of "white papers" from the various scientific subgroups assigned to
issue the recommendations. As yet there's nothing in it, but it looks as
though it will be Hog Heaven for anyone interested in planetary exploration
for the next year or so:
