SETI software nears milestones

May will mark 2 million users in just one year, all seeking E.T.

                SETI@home, the screen-saver program that
               analyzes radio data for signs of extraterrestrial
               intelligence, is on track to pass two milestones in
               May: the first anniversary of the program’s
               official launch ... and the recruitment of more
               than 2 million volunteer users.
